Zdeněk Bouša

Zdenek Bousa is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the ApS Brno, Ltd. Company.

Zdenek Bousa is responsible for managing of projects at ApS Brno Company. ApS Brno, Ltd. was founded in 1990 as a software company and it closely cooperates with the Brno University of Technology, especially in the field of IT training activities and research and development. ApS Brno, Ltd. is more than 20 years on the market and has a stable turnover.

Mr. Bousa has more than 35 years experiences in the Information Technology Management area, starting in 1975 as a programmer of healthcare information systems. Moreover he worked many years in the management area – as VP of Management of a big hospital, as a Bursar for Brno University of Technology and as a economic adviser for Czech Ministry of Education.

Zdeněk Bouša received his MSc. in Computer Science from the Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic.

Tomáš Hruška

Prof. Tomas Hruska is the Codasip® project owner. He manages and administers the whole Codasip® project.  Prof. Hruska provides overall directions and guidance to the team working on various project activities. His day-to-day leadership and excellent management skills guarantee the best possible technical results and motivate all team members to solve even the most complex tasks.

He graduated at the Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. Since 1978, he’s been working at the Department of Computer Science, Brno University of Technology. He founded the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) in 2002 and served there as the dean till 2008. Prof. Hruska is currently the vice-dean of FIT.

In 1978-1983, he dealt with research in the area of compiler implementation for microprocessor behavior simulation languages. In 1983-1989, he concentrated on design and implementation of both general-purpose and problem oriented languages. Since 1987 he participated on the project of C language compiler. Since 2006 he’s been working on the design and implementation of the Codasip® project.

Prof. Hruska received his CSc. (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic.

Karel Masařík

Dr. Karel Masarik leads the team developing the Codasip® IDE, compilers, simulators and hardware generators.

Dr. Masarik is responsible for research in the area of compilers, simulators and hardware generators of processors at the Brno University of Technology. Prior to joining Codasip®, in the ATRON electronic GmbH Germany, Dr. Masarik led design and development of testing system for embedded systems. He was a part of the ATRON research group at the same time and worked closely with the FernUniversitat Hagen Germany. Later on he took over the responsibility for the design and implementation of the core of the real time operating system for the onboard computer used in public transport.

Dr. Masarik received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic.
